Jamie Wick, LAc., Dipl.Ac.
Jamie has traveled and lived in diverse places throughout the world, and through her travels, she has observed and internalized the deep connection to nature held by many cultures. Jamie has studied medicine in different contexts for many years, including experience learning and working with traditional Mexican medicine.
Before becoming an acupuncturist, she lived in Mexico and worked in the field of human rights. She loved this work and also realized that traditional medicine, like Chinese medicine, would offer a greater service to humanity. She now loves seeing people come alive, learn more about themselves, gain new awareness and grow through acupuncture.
Jamie is a board-certified acupuncturist by the NCCAOM, and a graduate of the Maryland University of Integrative Health with a Master’s in Acupuncture. She currently is pursuing her Doctorate in Oriental Medicine.
Jamie is an in-network provider for BlueCross/CareFirst, Aetna, and Cigna insurance. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
As part of her own healing journey, Jamie discovered the benefits of Functional Medicine to support health and healing. As a result, she began to partner with the Academy of Integrative Medicine in order to offer this to her patients. As a student in the program, she already is providing this service to others with great success.
While Jamie treats people for a wide variety of conditions, she has special interest in fertility, pregnancy, pediatrics, autoimmune conditions and other chronic conditions. Jamie is a mom to a three year old little girl.
